Solar & Photovoltaic Cables

Cables built for 25 years in the sun. CASK Cables supplies every DC cable a solar plant needs, from the panel strings to the inverter, made to European and international solar cable standards and tested before they leave us.

Made for a life outdoors

Solar cables spend decades on roofs and in open fields, in strong sun, heat, frost, rain and wind. A cable that cracks or ages early stops a plant from producing and can become a fire risk. That is why our solar cables use tinned copper conductors that resist corrosion, and cross-linked, halogen-free insulation and sheath that stay flexible and strong under UV light, ozone and extreme temperatures.

CASK Cables is the cable division of CASK Electric, based in Dilovası, Kocaeli. We supply the DC side of solar projects together with our steel mounting structures, transformers and panels, so one partner can deliver the complete package for a plant.

Why you can trust our solar cables

Made to the solar standards

Every cable is made to the solar cable standards that utilities and EPC contractors specify: EN 50618 and IEC 62930 for Europe and international projects, UL 4703 for projects built to US rules.

Tested before dispatch

Routine tests are carried out on every drum before it leaves us, and test reports and certificates are delivered with each order for your project file.

Safer in a fire

Flame-retardant, halogen-free and low-smoke materials protect people and equipment on rooftops, in buildings and in battery storage areas.

Built to last 25 years

Designed for the full life of a solar plant, from desert heat to freezing nights, with insulation that resists UV, ozone, water, oil and abrasion.

Ready for site

Drums and reels in standard or project lengths, each labelled with item number, size, length and batch, and the cable printed every metre so installers always know what they are laying.

Engineering support

Our engineers help choose the right size for each run, including hot roofs and long cable routes, so the plant loses as little energy as possible.

The solar range

Copper solar cable

The standard string and array cable for solar plants in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Double-insulated tinned copper, fitting all common solar connectors.

Aluminium DC solar cable

For the long main cable runs between combiner boxes and central inverters in large plants: the same power at lower weight and lower cost than copper.

PV wire

For projects built to the US electrical code and clients who specify UL-listed cable.

Connectors and accessories

Connectors, branch connectors, in-line fuses, crimping tools, cable ties and module clips, supplied with the cable so one order covers the whole DC side.

Sizes, current ratings and item numbers for every cable are in the catalogue: English (PDF) · العربية (PDF)

Frequently asked questions

Which solar cable should I use for the panel strings?

Double-insulated tinned copper solar cable is the standard string cable in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. For projects built to US rules, PV wire is used. Our team will confirm the right cable and size for your project.

When is aluminium cable worth it?

On the long main cable runs in large plants, where aluminium carries the same power at lower weight and cost than copper.

Do you supply connectors with the cable?

Yes. Connectors, branches, fuses, tools and fixing accessories can be supplied together with the cable, so the whole DC side comes from one order.

Cabling a solar plant?

Send us your cable list or single-line diagram. We reply with datasheets, drum lengths and prices.
