Cable Trays, Cable Ladders & Cable Trunking
Complete cable routing systems from CASK STEEL: perforated cable trays, ladder trays and solid-bottom trunking, with every fitting, cover and support needed on site. Manufactured at our factory in Dilovası, Kocaeli, in accordance with IEC 61537.
Three types of cable containment
Each system comes with a full range of fittings and accessories, so a complete cable route can be ordered from one manufacturer.
Perforated cable tray
Made from a single sheet of perforated metal. Suited to cables that need protection from external damage together with some ventilation.
Cable ladder
Two side rails joined by rungs, welded or bolted. Gives maximum ventilation to heat-producing cables such as power cables.
Cable trunking
Solid-bottom sections from a single metal sheet, giving excellent protection. Used mainly for instrumentation, control and communication cables.

- Aluminium alloy, for corrosion resistance, easy field fabrication and an excellent strength-to-weight ratio
Fittings, covers and accessories
Fittings change the direction, level or width of a cable run and are made in the same sizes as the straight sections:
- Horizontal and vertical elbows: 90°, with 30°, 45° and 60° also available
- Horizontal and vertical tees, horizontal crosses
- Straight, left-hand and right-hand reducers
- Inside and outside vertical risers

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between a cable tray and a cable ladder?
A perforated cable tray has a continuous perforated base that protects cables while allowing some ventilation. A cable ladder has open rungs between two side rails, giving maximum ventilation and strength for heavy power cables over longer spans.
Which finish should I choose for outdoor or corrosive sites?
Hot-dip galvanized steel is the usual choice outdoors and in industrial plants. Stainless steel or aluminium alloy are used where corrosion is severe, for example offshore, marine and chemical sites. Pre-galvanized and powder-coated trays suit indoor installations.
Can you manufacture non-standard sizes?
Yes. Designs other than the standard range are manufactured on request for project requirements. Send us your drawings or cable schedule with your enquiry.
Which standard do your cable trays follow?
CASK STEEL cable trays are manufactured in accordance with IEC 61537, the international standard for cable tray and cable ladder systems, including loading capability and support span.
